Abstract

This work presents an experimental study on the optical properties of TiO₂–Rhodamine 6G (R6G) hybrid systems with potential relevance to dye-sensitized solar cell applications. TiO₂ particles were prepared using pulsed laser ablation in liquid at different pulse numbers, while R6G dye solutions were prepared at various concentrations. The optical behavior of TiO₂, R6G, and their hybrid systems was investigated using UV–Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The optical behavior of TiO₂, R6G, and their hybrid systems was investigated using UV– Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. These findings suggest that TiO₂–R6G hybrid coatings may improve visible light harvesting and could be considered for applications related to dye-sensitized solar cells.
